Is automation allowed on private Travian servers?

The honest answer is that it depends on the server, and that you have to check before you start rather than after you are banned. Here is what to check, and what the answer usually is.

On the official game, the answer is simply no

The published rules leave no room: “You may use addons if they don’t change, automate, or interact with the game”, “use only unmodified browsers”, and “even if unintentional, gaining an advantage from bots, multi accounts, or sellers breaks the rules”. There is no qualified version of that, and it applies to sitters and duals too. This tool is not for the official game.

On private servers, each administrator decides

And they genuinely differ. In practice you will meet three postures:

• Permitted. Some servers allow automation openly, often because they run at high speed and consider the alternative to be rewarding whoever can stay awake longest.
• Forbidden, and enforced. Others copy the official rules and mean it, with automated detection. On those, using a tool like this is a matter of when, not if.
• Made unnecessary. A growing number build the same conveniences in — endless farm lists, evasion, instant build — precisely so third-party tools stop being a reason to play elsewhere.

How to check, in about two minutes

1. Open the server’s own rules page. Search it for bot, script, automation. If those words appear next to a ban, you have your answer.
2. If the rules say nothing, ask in the server’s Discord — in public, not by direct message. An administrator’s answer in writing is worth more than a guess.
3. Silence is not permission. A rule that does not exist yet can be written the week after you are reported.

The multi-account question is separate, and stricter

Almost everywhere, including the official game, you may play one account per gameworld — “registering a second account is already a rule violation, even if it remains unused”. Running several accounts means several servers, not several avatars in one. If what you want is the second kind, no tool makes that allowed.

We would rather not make the sale than have you banned for something we sold you — and a vendor who tells you that is the only kind worth believing about anything else.
